Surachai Leerungruang dedicated his life to mastering the craft of steel manufacturing.
“Respect the material.
Master the process.
Never compromise on quality.”
In the 1950s, Surachai began his journey as a young entrepreneur with a passion for making things. As a young man, Surachai learned welding, fabrication, and engineering in a small workshop producing fan stands from steel.
Steel fascinated him.
It was practical, durable, and honest.

Inspired by what steel could become, he began importing steel pipes and crafting chairs, tables, and cabinets by hand. What started as a small operation gradually became a collection of steel furniture.
Demand grew.
Workshops became factories.
Factories became industries.

Surachai's understanding of steel continued to deepen. Driven by curiosity and a desire to improve, Surachai travelled to Japan — encountering new manufacturing technologies, production methods, and quality standards that would shape everything that followed.
Over the years, our factories manufactured millions of products, serving homes, offices, institutions, and businesses throughout Thailand and abroad.

Among the many ventures that emerged throughout this journey was LEECO.
“Lee” — from the family name.
“Co” — from company.
Together, LEECO became a symbol of trust, quality, and expertise built through decades of working with steel.
Not a rebrand. A declaration.
Steel is not a material to us. It is a craft, refined across generations — shaped, finished, and assembled with the same intent for over forty years.
That knowledge is why our work is trusted for its durability and precision, and why we believe furniture should last decades, not years.
The world has changed. The way people live has changed. The role of furniture has changed.

Steel, finally at home.
Not an update. A transformation.
The LC Collection reimagines four decades of steel mastery for the way we live today — industrial precision, made warm, made human.

Reimagined for a new generation. This is LEECO
